Parent page is the name of page eg. Animal is the category parent page of Horse. You have to add [[Category:Animal]] to Horse page to categorise it under animal category. In answer to User:Iflaq's question, it is not possible to create separate wikipedias for each Kashmiri writing system. The Wikimedia language policy would not allow separate writing systems of the same language to exist as separate wikipedias. It can co-exist on the same wikipedia language edition of course, which is the current situation.
- The only reason why Punjabi Wikipedia exists as pnb.wikipedia.org and pa.wikipedia.org is because there are two separate iso 693-3 codes. I don't get what your are trying to say can you please elaborate it. I seems like an idea you can post on Wikipedia:اؠسَمبَلی (راے جائے) since it seems more users will be affected by by decision. Category names[اؠڈِٹ]
@Humzah Rouf Phumboo: ji we don't keep slashes or alternative spellings in the title of pages or categories themselves. For alt spellings or same meanings we create a redirect to the more common name. For Devanagari or Sharada scripts, there is no official policy, but I for one think we should create a redirect to the Perso-Arabic page, and list the different scripts on that category page. This is in context of the مؠوٕ category that you moved and the मेव्/𑆥𑇀𑆫𑆱𑆮𑇀 category you created(Devanagari spelling wrong btw, should be म्यवॖ). Do let me know your opinion.
